what should sanguma look like?

I’ve been thinking about this . . . too much.

What I would really value is to be able to have a Papua New Guinean artist do a painting. Something reflective of the old school paintings on say, early copies of The Shining. Maybe a collage-style cover with various images from the book surrounding a central figure—Claire. The Sanguma’s (sorcerer’s) face as one of the images.

In general I feel that it’s really important to take every avenue to support our collective creativity, and in this case, most definitely draw on a PNG artist. In the interim . . . here’s a lousy AI mock-up that STILL got me pumped!
